Event Details

Behind our inaugural release of state arts vibrancy data there are so many rich stories of the unique strengths and experiences of each region and their diverse arts communities. We'll be exploring states with high rural populations and exceptional arts vibrancy – which buck the general trend of lower arts vibrancy among rural communities.

Join us for an engaging conversation with three state art leaders as they share their experiences in supporting vibrant arts communities in relatively rural states. Hear from these leaders and SMU DataArts researchers as they offer valuable insights into the data, their individual work, and experiences investing in art communities.

This conversation will be facilitated by Ryan Stubbs, Senior Research Director at the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies. Register today to join as we celebrate and learn from these diverse voices as they share their work and perspectives on the significance that rural arts have for thriving state arts communities.
