Community Conversations: Linking Strategy & Financial Sustainability - Spotlight on Organizations of Color | Free | |
|
Event Details
What lessons can we learn about relevance and resilience from high-performing arts organizations that primarily serve communities of color? How do they establish and maintain deep connections with the communities they serve and that sustain them, and what are the distinctive challenges they encounter in doing so?
Join us as we explore the second phase of research on successful strategies employed by high-performing arts organizations that can be considered for adoption or adaptation by others. In a follow-up report produced in partnership with The Wallace Foundation, The Alchemy of High-Performing Arts Organizations: A Spotlight on Organizations of Color, focuses on the experience of organizations that serve communities of color with a track record of high performance along seven financial and operating metrics in recent years. This community conversation will focus on the perspectives of three arts leaders interviewed in this study. We will share the lessons learned from the data, discuss the unique challenges faced by these organizations, and provide guidance to organizations that seek a path linking strategy and financial sustainability.
